We have something new we are working on with the RB Boosters for Rockaway Beach

I have some very Sad News to report to all the members of the Street Shakers as well as the friends of the club and show.

This past Monday the 21st of December we lost 2 members of the club in a car accident. Mike Craig and Dave Uprichard were driving on Hwy 160 not far from Rockaway Beach when Mike lost control of the car and hit a tree killing both. Dave will always be remembered by our other members as well as participants of the car shows as a very likable and knowledgeable guy. Dave has been a judge for all of our car shows as well as Billy B's shows in Forsyth.

What the authorities think happened was that Mike had a heart attack while driving and Dave unbuckled his seat belt to try to gain control and they hit a tree head on.

Trophy's to be given out to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for the above categories.
We will also be giving out trophies for: Best in Show, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine and Compartment, Best Wheel and Tire, People's Choice, Longest Distance, Best Club Participation.
$300 cash prize given for the “Best in Show” Winner Sponsored by Famous Dave's on the Landing in Branson MO
Entry Fees: Class's 1 through 24 $25 in advance $30 Day of show.
Class 25: Display only NO TROPHIES $15 in Advance $20 Day of show
Goodie bags and Dash Plaques to the first 100 vehicles signed up

Friday
Special Friday night cruise. Leaving Empire Park on Y Hwy in Forsyth and travel up to 160 Hwy then west to 176 Hwy and down into Rockaway Beach where we will have the Rocknaway In Rockaway get together party.

We are also working on the possibility of a “Burn Out Contest”. Guitar Hero contest for juniors as well as Adults.

There will also be the 1st Annual “Rockn N Rockaway Chill'E out” Chili Contest.

Sunday
Pancake and Egg breakfast Sunday Morning starting at 8am to 11am. Show judging participants have a ticket already to the breakfast included with their show fee. Extra persons are: Adults $4.99 per person and Kids 12 and under $2.99 per person. The awards presentation will be starting at 12 noon.

We have 2 versions available. Version A made it's debut at the Forsyth Harvest Moon Car show and was a major success!

It was so popular and I was finally able to get some more pics of some of the cars from our show this past June that Dave and I decided on a second version of the calendar.
