Should I join

This is a very good question, so let's break it down with a few basic Q and A questions.

Why should I join?

As has been said numerous times in the past by many other people: "There is strength in numbers". Look at the major car clubs like NHRA, IHRA and NASCAR just to name a few. A full fledged racing pro member of these above clubs is covered by:

  • Health Insurance

  • Auto Insurance

  • Discounts from the major sponsors

And a lot more benefits just to name a few. If we can achieve a large membership we can approach Health and Auto insurance companies and get very cheap competitive rates on insurance. AND major sponsors like Jeg's and Summit will give more than just a small 5 or 10% discount on parts sometimes we can get the parts we need donated.

But I don't even have a car .

Doesn't matter in the slightest little bit if you own a car or not!

Street Shaker Cruzin N Racing doesn't care if you have a car, truck, Motorcycle, Hot rod or any motor vehicle or even a bicycle or if you don't have any of the above. We are a group of people from all walk's of life from restaurant servers and managers to Grocery stockers ,High School students, even retired members and we have one common like, Motor Vehicles especially drag cars!

AND, we like to get together and socialize by sitting around and shooting the bull, playing pool or darts or working on each others cars and going out to the strip.

I'm too youg too drive.

SOOOO! We already have members in the 7 to 10 age group in our club!!!!!

By being to young to drive you will have the very unique opportunity to learn about cars, bikes and such before many others in your age group. Wouldn't you like to know about the car you are going to buy when you turn 16? Think about how many kids go to a car lot, see a car that's "cool", buy it and then start having problems with it no sooner than when you drive off the lot, but they liked it because it was "cool" looking.

Just by it looking cool is no way to buy a car, by being in the club you will have instant information at your fingertips by calling a fellow club member or just by watching older more experienced members working on their own cars and asking questions you will have the knowledge already in your head to make a wise choice.

Another benefit by being to young is that you will need a ride, so why not ask mom or dad to give you a lift and get them involved in the club. What better way to get to know your parents more and for them to get to know you better.

I belong to another car club.

Doesn't matter at all. We are not asking you to quit your current club and join ours. Most car clubs specialize in vehicle types like low riders, tail draggers, muscle cars, imports etc. We are different if the fact that we want ALL types of cars and we are a people club as well. Like we said earlier, it doesn't even matter if you have a vehicle or not.

What you could do is talk to other members and bring it up at your next meeting and see if they want to bring their club under the Street Shaker name. You can keep your current club name and use your club as a chapter like: Street Shaker Cruzin N Racing Chapter 3 "Lowriders Inc." as an example.
